Middle School Assistant Principal's Welcome

G’day Mate! My name is Darrin Schumacher and I originally hale from "Down Under" Australia. It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the Gyeonggi Suwon International School in beautiful Korea! I am looking forward to a great year, and I encourage every Middle School student to take full advantage of the numerous academic, athletic and co-curricular activities that are available to each of you.

I really value the relationship that exists between the staff, the students and their parents. Please keep us informed of matters that are happening at home so that we can best cater for your child’s needs at school. I am looking forward to getting to know the students and their families within the Middle School. We also love hearing about the fantastic things the students are doing outside of school, so please send me an email and share this with me.

We have a great staff at GSIS and working together with parents and students, we look forward to the new challenges and expectations the future brings!
