IB ITGS SL combines social science methodologies with ethical considerations usually associated with philosophy. It encourages students to recognize that there is a wide range of opinions regarding the impact of IT on individuals and their societies. The course is divided into three units – social and ethical issues; IT systems and areas of impact. This course that examines the impact of information technology on individuals and societies both at the global and local level.
