Fine Arts Department Courses

Course Length: 1 Year
Course Credits: 1 Credit

This is a foundational class for Drawing and Painting II, 3D Art, all IB art and non-IB Studio art. The course has a practical focus and involves studies in drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. The course involves research into elements of art and principles of design as well as traditional and contemporary art. This course involves development of one through the use of various media and techniques theme. Foundation Art prepares students for further Visual Art courses.
