The Elementary school staff and parents desire to provide opportunities for our students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 to learn specific life-skills, teamwork, and physical fitness. As a member of the Korean-American Interscholastic Activities Conference (KAIAC), students have the opportunity to participate and compete with other international schools in Chess, Swimming, Soccer, Cross Country Running and Basketball.
Gyeonggi Suwon International School believes that the opportunity for participation in a wide variety of co-curricular activities is a vital part of every student’s educational experience. These activities contribute to the development of transdisciplinary skills that enable students to maximize their learning at GSIS. Students are given opportunities to develop their interests and talents at a variety of levels. We offer many programs for all the different age groups and the options change as more staff, parents and outside qualified instructors get involved. After-school activities are offered Tuesday - Friday for 6 weeks each quarter. Below is a list of some of the activities that have been offered:
