Mr. Darrin Schumacher is originally from "Down Under", Australia. He began his teaching career as a Middle School and Elementary School teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran College in Noosa, Queensland. Mr. Schumacher has been working in the field of education since 1994 as an Elementary Teacher, Middle School Teacher, Elementary Principal and Middle School Co-ordinator. He has been at GSIS since 2008 and has been very active within the student body getting involved in many after school activities as well as coaching the High School Varsity Tennis team. He is really looking forward to working with, and getting to know the Middle School students as well as their families with excitement about the year ahead.
