Joseph Fambro joined Gyeonggi Suwon International School in 2007. He coordinates the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP) and curriculum for grades 6 through 10. Mr. Fambro completed his undergraduate degree at The College at Southeastern and has taught in private American, Korean and international schools. He is currently completing his Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction / English Language Learner Instruction with TESOL Certification. He has taught English in the middle school division, Design Technology in both the middle and high school divisions, and regularly leads professional development workshops on topics related to curriculum, instruction, and 21st Century teaching and learning. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator, has been integral in helping transition to an Apple 1-to-1 school and is actively involved in championing administrators, faculty and students to infuse technology to improve learning. Joseph is an Understanding by Design (Wiggins & McTighe) trainer, manages Rubicon Atlas curriculum mapping software for GSIS, and enjoys working with faculty on curriculum design.
