Ms. Tiffeney Brown is originally from Lawrenceville, Virgina. She began her career in education as an English teacher in Northern Virginia teaching English. Ms. Brown has 13 years of experience as an English teacher, teaching levels from Advance Placement courses to ESL and Special Needs levels. She has been with GSIS for 2 1/2 years, beginning as a secondary teacher and English Department Head, transitioning each year from grade 9 up to grade11. Ms. Brown has been very active with the student body sponsoring the Student Council for the last 2 1/2 years of her time at GSIS. She is currently the HS Assistant Principal and continues her teaching role with two courses: IB English and English 11 as well as co-advise Student Council.
